You Might Have a virus

Have you ever had you computer slow down to a screeching halt? You might have a virus!
Have you ever went to a website and ended up somewhere else? You Might have a virus!
Have you seen icons on your screen that you don't know what they are? You might have a virus!

These are just a few things that happen when your computer gets infected with Viruses, Spyware, Trojans, Adware or Worms. They have many names and do many different things. The worst feeling in the world is to have just bought a computer and to take it home and log into the Internet and 10Min's later your not able to connect anymore. You automatically start blaming the people at the store for selling a bad unit. Unfortunately, software issues are not covered under any kind of warranty program. I know you did not go to any porn websites or you didn't download anything. It is much easier than that. Your computer tracks everything that you do and that includes every website, good or bad sites.
Example: Say you went to a website that sold flowers and you clicked on a picture of a flower. That picture enlarged when you clicked on it. Well what you didn't know is that you were possible redirected somewhere else and could be downloading a threat into your PC. That's all it takes. SO, you ask "How do I protect myself". Well we will start off with a problem. Once you get a threat on your computer it is much harder to get it off than to just prevent it. So make sure you have adequate protection. Not free crap that you got offline pr something that your friend gave you. You can load one copy of protection onto as many machines as you want but it will only update for one machine. If it does not update then it is not doing any good. So remove. Yes I said remove the multiple protection you have and go with one good one. Often enough protection software sees other software as threats and will disable them. Kinda like a virus does. However, if you have already gotten the virus then you will need to do a lot of work to remove, OR Do You?
